Job Description :
o Use Agile (sprints) methodology for development
o Write efficient code in VB.Net/C#.net and provide code comments where necessary
o Design web/windows forms using Material design
o Maintain code repositories of published and unpublished code
o Write stored procedures, functions and complex queries in Microsoft SQL Server
o Ability to design reports using RDLC (preferred) or HTML5 (without Javascript)
o Change Management / Issue tracking:
o Create and manage the release plans for each sprint and get Project Owner sign-off before commencing work
o Manage the Issue backlog in JIRA
o Raise changes in ServiceFirst, create database backup tasks and chase relevant teams for task completion
o Secure email sign-off from Project Owner detailing when the change will go through, what changes will be part of the new release, when would the release be published and whether there is any downtime / outage to consider
o Prepare COMS to go out in-case of downtime / outages
o Update change log document to keep a list of all changes (release/version wise)
Skills:-
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation and influencing skills,
- Ability to raise issues appropriately to the right level internally and externally to resolve
- Relational database (MS SQL, Oracle, or DB2) and SQL experience.
